Fallen arch: An acquired flat foot can be very painful. The changes in your walking can effect your ankle, knee, hip, and back. May be due to torn posterior tibialis tendon or collapse of bone due to rheumatoid arthritis. An arch support (orthotic) may be helpful to reestablish the normal movement of your foot. Give it a try.
