That's one option: Mini implants work very well to secure dentures, are less expensive than standard diameter (wider) implants and usually involve less surgery. They can, however, be inserted into healed bone, so if the 7 teeth pulled were all in the ideal locations for the mini implants, you may have to wait for healing first. The standard implants can be placed sooner and offer more options besides dentures.
