Yes: The vitamin d might be a little much if you are taking a multivitamin too. The way to know for sure is for your doctor to check a vitamin d level. If the level is ok, you can keep taking it as recommended.

How many hours should my newborn be sleeping?

Dr. Scott Katz

18-20 hours: Most newborns are only awake for feedings, diaper changes and, on average, a few hours of crying time per day. Remember that this is an average. Some babies, just like some adults, need less sleep. If your baby is happy, healthy and growing properly, she is probably getting enough sleep. Also, most newborns are more awake at night, so try to nap when she is napping.

Yes: It is one of the vitamins in your daily prenatal vitamin so you probably don't need anymore. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Our bodies absorb vitamins much better through unprocessed foods than supplements.

Yes: You can take vit c supplements while pregnant or breastfeeding but you should not exceed recommended dosing. You will get more with eating lots of fruits and vegetables high in vitamin c. Our bodies absorb vitamins much better when presented in unprocessed foods. Plus if you are taking a multivitamin everyday that will also have vitamin C in it. Too many vtiamin supplements are not good.

Yes: Yes, most of the time doubling a children's vitamin should be safe, but check content also, since too much of certain vitamins can be embryo toxic such as vitamin a. Make sure you take at least 1000 mcg of folic acid. Dha, omega 3 fatty acid, is also recommended now, omega 3 fatty acids.

How many doses of meningococcal vaccine are needed

2 doctor answers6 doctors weighed in
Dr. Marcus Degraw
Pediatrics 22 years experience
1 or 2: Well, there is a small discrepancy right now. The cdc, the people who recommend how to get shots, recommends that kids 11-18 need two doses. One at 11yo and one aft 16yo. But, the fda has not approved either brand, Menveo or menactra, to be given that way. Both are only approved as a one dose vaccine. This will clear up soon and every kid will get 2 doses, and you can do that now off fda label.
