Diagnosis?: Did your doctor make a diagnosis or just cover all bases with those two prescriptions? While not all lesions have cures, most can be resolved or treated to produce satisfactory comfort. If you 'dr' was a physician, i would recommend that you see a general dentist, oral surgeon or oral medicine practitioner.

More tests needed: There are several on common diseases associated with mouth ulcers. If your doctor can't test for them you should see a specialist.
