Insomnia: Excessive caffeine intake, anxiety and stress are the common causes of insomnia. See a sleep specialist and try yoga in the evenings!

In Lab Study: It is not unusual to have sleep apnea and insomina/psych. The only way to diagnose sleep apnea is with a sleep study, and the sleep study should be done ideally in a sleep lab with eeg electrodes on your head, probes to measure your breathing and respiratory effort on your face and around your chest and waist as well as oxygen concentration. If you had such a study then that would be the truth.
