Dear sir, what is difference between agumentin and ciprofloxacin, that's why both of them is antibiotic?

Different targets: Yes, they are both antibiotics but they act on different types of bacteria. There are many types of bacteria and require different mechanisms to kill or stunt their reproduction. Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is used more for gram negatives and Augmentin is used for gram positives and anaerobes mostly.

Drug difference: Aside from their different chemical structure Augmentin is usually used to treat illness of the respiratory tree from the snuses to lung infections. Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is usually used in the treatment of the uro genital tract.
