Avoid lactose: I assuming you are talking about milk. Most people who have bloating with milk and milk products are lactose intolerant. A lactase enzyme replacement with milk products can help. There is lactose free milk on the market. Yogurt is often tolerated as the live cultures beak down lactose. I hope this helps.

IBS and Milk: Your question is a bit confusing. Lactose intolerance patients can resemble irritable bowel patients. They get better when you follow dr. Shulan advice. Furthermore oral food challange tests from england have shown that sometimes ibs patients are worsened by numerous foods and not necessarily due to enzyme deficiencies.
