Possible infection: Your symptoms could be signs of an infection or perforation possibly related to your IUD insertion. Because you have never had these symptoms before it is prudent for you to go back to the provider who inserted the IUD to have it checked. They may do an ultrasound to check the position of the IUD and a CBC blood test to look for infection, and exam. Don't wait. Go now.
