Yes: Try to avoid foods that tend to produce gas (beans, wheat germ, bagels, etc), be sure to get enough fiber (even if you have to take supplements) and as a last resort see a physician for a prescription for an antispasmodic agent (bentyl (dicyclomine) or another agent).
