Shingles: The rash/blister and swelling will take couple weeks to subside. However, the pain might remain. The duration of the pain is hard to predict. Some people will develop chronic pain from shingles (post herpetic neuralgia).

Shingles: The rash normally should resolve in a week to 10 days. make sure there is no super added infection.
