MIrtazipine: Nope. It is a very good ssri type of anti-depressant. But, it also leads to very deep and restful sleep and that alone can help alleviate anxiety and add to one's ability to manage stress better.

It is used in combination with other antidepressants and as an effective sleeping aid. It causes elevation of triglycerides and voracious appetite, with weight gain.
