Tx options: ECT can cause loss of recent memories. Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) uses magnetic fields to stimulate brain nerve cells to treat depression. Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation (CES) uses a pulsed electric current across the head to treat depression, anxiety & insomnia. I use CES with a large number of my patients with good results.
