Wheezing: You may be experiencing some reactivity of the large airways with constriction. This is commonly known as wheezing and can occur with a restpiratory illness. It is like an asthma exacerbation. You can have your doctor check you and prescribe an inhaler to help until the infection clears. You should also be checked for pneumonia.

Cough: You may also have bronchitis or a walking pneumonia. See your doctor and get a chest xray.
