It is only human: Often when we have been hurt by someone it is hard to forget. In order to truly let go it is important to process why you "hate" this person so much. Processing and gaining validation for your hurt feelings will help you gain perspective. Get connected with a psychologist to work on this.

Redirect: If you persevere on this person, you will continue to have those emotions. Why not forget about them so that you are not wasting time and energy on someone you have strong feelings against. Focus your mind on your regular activities like work/school, hobbies, good friends, family, etc. As you think less of that person, it will be less on your mind.
