Pes cavus: High arch causes increased pressure on the front and back of the foot. This can cause pain, calluses, arthritis, deformity. Sometimes genetic causes, sometimes spinal cord/tethered cord issues.

Pes cavus: An excessively high arch can cause the muscles to work harder when you're walking or wearing high heels. This can be a fatigue of the muscles and can usually be easily treated with orthotics. If you're also working out a lot you might be dehydrated or need electrolytes.
