Hard to say.: You didn't give much information other than you're still in pain after seeing a doctor. It's impossible to give you a meaningful answer without knowing more. If you feel your doctor isn't addressing your problem sufficiently, seek another opinion. Some conditions are frustrating to both patients and doctors, and it may take several approaches before a solution is found for a difficult problem.

Broad Differential: To help nail down the likely cause a few questions need to be answered. What were the circumstances surrounding the beginning of the problem- any connection to your activities? Is there any back/leg pain? Are there any associated neurologic symptoms such as pins and needles or numbness? Has this happened before and is there any involvement of the other foot? I would advise a reeval.
