Doctors had me on prednisone several times. i also switched birth control. then i got anxiety, migraines, high bp. i stopped both and am getting better. what caused it and is it safe to use bc again?

Speak to doctor: Bc should be. Safe but there are pieces to this story missing. Speak to your doctor and let them know where you are in this process. They are the best ones to advise you.

Maybe not good idea: Having high blood pressure and migraines when on birth control might imply that you have a reaction to the hormones that can raise blood pressure as well as change the tone of your blood vessels. Especially over the age of 35, or if you are not a lean-body-weighted non-smoker, the pill might not be the safest, most effective choice. You may be at increased risk of a clot on it. See your doctor.
