Maybe not good idea: Having high blood pressure and migraines when on birth control might imply that you have a reaction to the hormones that can raise blood pressure as well as change the tone of your blood vessels. Especially over the age of 35, or if you are not a lean-body-weighted non-smoker, the pill might not be the safest, most effective choice. You may be at increased risk of a clot on it. See your doctor.
