Difficult to treat: Lenox-gastaut syndrome is difficult to treat. It is usually treated with a combination of medications instead of monotherapy (single drug). You need to be followed by a specialist for seizures and you should also get involved in your local epilepsy foundation-they can help provide for the non-medical needs of your family and help with education.

Lennox gastaut synd: Lgs is difficult to treat and if treatment has failed four medications the likelihood of any improvement is not very good. It can improve with age but usually other symptoms can worsen. Stay with your neurologist and discuss all options. Hope this helps.
