A member asked:

Should i get tested for parkinson's disease? have slight tremor at 65.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eval tremor: There is no test for Parkinson's disease, the diagnosis is a clinical diagnosis based upon history and physical findings. Though tremor is one of the core features, other features are required for the diagnosis. There are multiple reasons that you may have a tremor other than pd., including age, essential tremor , medications, too much caffeine, etc. If the tremor is concerning have it evaluated.
