Dizziness: The anesthesia or sedation may make you dizzy, but the actual procedure should not. Rarely a condition known as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, or bppv, can occur requiring treatment. If your dizziness persists, return to see your oral surgeon for evaluation and to determine if there's a problem that may require further treatment. Good luck!

Wisdom teeth & dizzy: Nitrous oxide administration can make you feel light-headed, although only lasting transiently once it is turned off. The process of sedation (medications used) can make you feel dizzy as well. Once hone after many hours, if you are taking narcotic analgesics, these can make you dizzy as well. Seeing blood in your mouth or a wound can bring on dizziness in some people too.
