Does polio affect your life span?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: If you suffered polio as a child, and now it is almost nonexistent in the USA, it may have resulted in some weakness and atrophy but will not affect lifespan. An acute case could cause death due to breathing issues, but with modern respirators, most can survive.
