Cervix fragile: It is not unusual for a woman to spot or have a little light bleeding when a pap smear is done. This is because some of the cells of the cervix can be fragile, and the brush used in the pap can make those cells bleed.

Inflammatory cells: Iflamed pap smear most probably means smear reveals a lot of inflammatory cells - predominantly neutrophils. Inflammation may be seen in presence of fungal organisms and trichomanas vaginalis, or just be a sign of chronic or acute cervicitis without any microorganisms.
