Orthodontics: That's one of many indications. There are lots of others. Depending upon the age of the individual and the stage of development, some crowding of teeth may unravel as the jaw grows. The bottom line: it's always best to get an early orthodontic consult. If your an adult, discuss treatment options with a general dentist who may then refer you for an orthodontic consult.

Best answer: Best way to fix crowded teeth is to uncrowd them, straighten them, put them where they belong. Ask your dentist to refer you to an orthodontic specialist for an examination.
