Does constant icing help for ankles?

Help what?: No details we can't answer. Was it a sprain, fracture or soft tissue. Never want constant ice, need a break otherwise you will have other problems.

Constant icing: Generally "constant" icing is not recommended. There is a system that circulates cold water through a dressing or on the out side of a dressing but this should be done under your doctors supervision. Intermittent icing 30 min on and 30 off with a barrier between the ice and skin so you do not damage your skin can help.
