Taste blood: Erupting teeth break through the gum tissue. Occasionally, the tooth takes a while to fully erupt and it is not uncommon for the tissue to bleed a bit either when eating or brushing the area. It is normal for this to occur.

You can: Erupting wisdom teeth that do not fully erupt into position can be the source of chronic and in some instances, acute problems with the tissues overlying the partially exposed wisdom tooth and adjacent tissues. The irritated tissue can become quite inflamed and bleed easily.
