You Bet...a1-2 Punch: Both alcohol & cigarettes can affect the lining of your stomach, predisposing people to all sorts of GI problems (gerd, gastritis, ulcers, cirrhosis-related bleeding, etc). Both are toxins which can interact in your body to have a greater effect than either alone. However, don't assume that's what's causing your pain--see your primary medical doctor. Ask for help quitting while you're there!
