Menopause/Thyroid dx: Graves disease is a thyroid disease. Having your uterus removed is not a caused for graves diease. Having your ovaries removed at the time of hysterectomy can mimick sometimes thyroid disease by causing hot flahes, insomnia, weight changes, skin changes etc. Talk to your obgyn or endocrinologist.
