A member asked:

Is it safe to eat food made by a hepatitis c infected person?

Maybe but why chance: Hepatitis c is predominantly a virus infection transmitted by blood. Pubmed actually references however several case series (us and international literature) in which hepatitis c was linked to food-borne vehicles. Why take a chance, especially since an individual infected with one agent (like hepatitis c) may have other infection(s) that more effectively transmit orally.
