A member asked:

Should baby formula be warmed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessary: This practice is unnecessary. Some infants prefer it warm or cold or room temperature. You can train baby to take it in any fashion. It was common practice in the past, believing baby might loose energy warming up the feed, but the energy loss in not significant. In the microwave era, many babies actually suffer significant mouth burns when the feed is too hot.
