Why my eyes cannot focus on objects?

Presbyopia?: You may be referring to presbyopia. If you can see well far away, but when you try and cannot focus on objects up close, that is presbyopia. Your muscles that are used to focus on objects up close begin to weaken at around age 40. It is a natural aging process.
