Why is my voice gone?

Look to the voicebox: If your voice is gone, there is likely some issue with the vocal cords. If difficulty with your voice lasts for more than 10-14 days, i would recommend seeing an ENT who is trained to deal with voice health for an evaluation and to see how you can avoid this in the future.
