Does exercise make diverticulosis worse?

No, should help: Physical activity generally improves bowel function and colon motility, which reduce risk of diverticular problems. Basic issues include adequate liquid intake, fiber intake, avoidance of excessive straining while trying to have a bowel movement, and regular exercise is good.

No: Should make it better ( as above). But if you have active inflammation ( diverticulitis) it might feel worse. If feeling pain with activity you should be evaluated by an MD Eat healthy, stay hydrated.
