Need Correct DX : Diverticulosis is the common disease where small pockets form on the colon. In and of itself, they cause no symptoms unless one ruptures, which causes diverticulitis; this requires rx with antibiotics+/-bowel rest+/-emergency surgery. Diverticuli may also cause bleeding, sometimes requiring blood transfusions or even emergency surgery. I hope this helps.

Speak with your doc: It is likely another diagnosis. Diverticulosis should not be causing you any pain symptoms.

See a doctor.: Diverticulosis shouldn't hurt. If there's an infection there, called diverticulITIS, then there could be pain but then you'd need an evaluation and antibiotics. See a doctor soon.

Pain?: Shouldn't have pain with uncomplicated diverticulosis. Inflammation or scarring from repeated attacks may cause pain, cramping. If this is happening get seen by MD to ensure you are not missing something.
