A member asked:

Does candida always show on swab?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nothing is always: Yeast infections are commonly diagnosed clinically without the need for swabs, the effectiveness of which are influenced by the type of material in the swab, the specimen swabbed, the experience of the examiner, and so on and so on. But they are usually quite accurate.
