Not necessarily.: Swollen groin lymph nodes can be due to many reasons depending on the overall assessment. If it is painful, it may be infection. If there are other lymph nodes that are swollen, then you may need further work up. Swollen groin lymph nodes are very common, usually because many times people do not wear socks when wearing shoes. I would go see your doctor for definite medical advice.
