Many things: It could something as simple as a benign cyst, blood vessel malformation (hemagioma), other benign tumors (such as adenoma, nodular hyperplasia) or something as bad as a cancer (which could represent a metastasis or a primary liver cancer). You need more details, and preferably a ct scan or MRI with contrast for better information.
