Lots of bacteria: Gram + rods (or bacilli) are bacteria that stain with a special gram stain and also appear as rod-shaped (bacillus-shaped) under the microscope. Bacillus, clostridium, corynebacterium, ; listeria are the groups of bacteria classified this way. Gram + rods are not common causes of uncomplicated urinary tract infections.
