All NSAIDS !: While all nsaids are effective, it is more essential that inflammation is under control, both for arthritis progression, but also for prevention of an early heart attack or stroke. Inflammation damages the ling of blood vessels and accelerates atherosclerosis. But more specific to your question, diclofenac gel or Ketoprofen gel work well, and use of capscacin creams can help as wsell.

Start simple: Nsaids are a great start. If after a month there is little improvement see a rheumatologist.
