Ra v oa. Hands: oa affects distal joints more commonly and the base of the thin while ra affects the large knuckles and the distal ulna initially. It's more complex than this but this is a good starting point. Oa tends to have prominent Binet joints while ra. Boggy inflamed joints or tendons
