If i cant remember a trigger does that mean its not fibro?

Fibromyalgia: Trigger points are assessed during a physical ecam. There are 18 known trigger points. Ii out of 18 "positive" or painful trigger points make the diagnosis of fibromyalgia.

Trigger in fibro: "trigger" in fibro means a point in muscles, etc that triggers pain to a larger area. In emotional work, "trigger" generally means a traumatic memory or partial memory that evokes a painful, intense emotional response. The 2 may be related, but aren't necessarily. In fibro, you don't need to "remember" a trigger -- your body reacts as it does without your conscious participation.

Triggers vary: Person ? If "trigger" forgotten maybe not fibromyalgia (FM). FM often evolves insidiously over months & years. Inciting events can include childbirth, MVA's, falls, lifting accidents, prolonged bed rest w. generalized loss of muscle tone, & chronic deconditioning due to chronic pain condition. Commonly, chronic pain interferes w. sleep & resultant depression negatively impacts habits of health.
