High blood sugar: Your blood sugar will rise as a result of not taking your medication as prescribed. This can lead to other more serious problems if you do not control your diet properly.

Call your doctor: It is a very serious situation and since it is a generic and can be gotten for $4/ month change your priorities. Your symptoms mean your diabetes is out of control and you need to take the medication as well as the diet and exercise. You are at increased risk for kidney failure, blindness, heart disease, poor circulation, neuropathy and much more. Call your doctor and review the issues.

Sugar might go up: You can get metformin for 4 $ script at wal- mart or target. If you are already having urinating multiple times and at night , suspect sugars are still high. Recommend to work with ada diet and exercise and loose wt.
