Medication: There are excellent medications called antidepressants, which can greatly reduce suffering in cases of major depression. Major depression is a serious condition, which in severe cases, can be fatal. (suicide) some may have a low mood and not actually have all of the signs and symptoms of major depression. Again, real major depression can be quite serious.

Seek Tx: Stay on your medication, keep your psychotherapy appointments, or find a psychotherapist asap. Address any changes in your condition with your providers, especially if you have thoughts of self-harm. It is also important with any mood disorders to keep your routine, and look at the events that precipitated your depression.
