Cyst: Anechoic means that the fluid is homogenous...there is no internal debris, air bubbles, solid portons, etc... that would reflect the ultrasound beam(therefore no echoes or 'anechoic'). Unilocular means that the cyst does not have any compartments or internal divisions. Both of these findings are benign features.
