A member asked:

I would like to know what a few different doctors recommend for a 10.2x3.9x4.9cm uterus and 2 cm unilocular cyst-long periods, cramps, clotting-thanks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dysmenorrhea: The first question is are you finished with your family? If your family is complete then you are able to do something more permanent. The size of your uterus is essentially normal. The unilocular cyst is physiologic. That leaves the clotting. Ask your doctor about an endometrial ablation. This would eliminate the long periods and the passage of clots. It is an outpatient procedure.
