Ask your surgeon: It is hard to know from your question if the lump is what was biopsied (to see what it was) or if the lump is from the biopsy procedure. It would be unusual for a hematoma from a biopsy to persist from may to september, but if the biopsy was done to see what was in a pre-existing lump and there was no other treatment, it would still be there. Ask your surgeon.
