Herpes simplex: These creams will not treat the herpes or speed up the healing process, but perhaps by covering the ulcers they will be less tender. Do not use topical Acyclovir as there is evidence that this may promote development of resistance of the virus.

I had very painful lesions around my vagina last year. I went to the doctor and she said mycosis and gave me antifungal cream. But i got similar symptoms today although not nearly as painful, just a group of itchy yellowish bumps. yeast or herpes?
