Why doesn't injection of streptokinase cause a streptococcal infection?

It's not alive: Streptokinase is an enzyme that dissolves blood clots. It is not the bacteria streptococcus which is probably what confuses you.

No bacteria : Streptokinase does not contain any live strep bacteria. You have to have the bacteria to have the infection.
