A member asked:

Is it possible to remove ovarian cysts via cervix?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Generally No.: In order to excise (surgically remove) an ovarian cyst, an incision needs to be made in the skin. In some instances, a cyst can be drained by needle puncture through the vaginal wall, but this will remove fluid from the center of the cyst and will not actually excise the cyst wall. Hope that this helps.
