See a Podiatrist: Usually lumps indicate a problem. You mentioned cancer, which could be a remote possibility. Other more common problems are a bone spur, swelling, tendonitis, arthritis. Get it checked out.

Lumps...: Those lumps may be just the ending of your leg bones - we refer to them as malleoli. Without seeing exactly what you are referring to, it's to hard to try and give you a correct answer. Many podiatrists offer free screenings on occasion. Take advantage of this and have a professional exam to be sure.
