UTI cause: Fingering cannot cause a urinary tract infection (UTI). Sexual intercourse (S) can, in a woman. That is due to the short length of the urethra in a woman allowing bacteria (B) to enter her bladder (B) . Fingering a woman's vagina does not introduce any B into her bladder. If a woman has UTI's after the sex, she should urinate as soon as possible after S to prevent the B from entering her B.
